On the world map screen there are lots of forests scattered about the place. Some of these forests are secret Chocobo Forests that contain hidden treasures and lead up to receiving the Chicabo card. Below is a walkthrough of where these secret forests are and what to do when you are there.
SOLUTION: THE ROAMING FOREST

Location: North of Trabia Garden (refer to World Map section for exact location)
Star off by using the ChocoZiner at spot 1 or 2 in order to get the two chicobos back into hiding. Then use the ChocoZiner at spot 3, which brings down 3 chicobos in the area. Head to spot 4 and use the ChocoZiner to bring down the 4th chicobo. Return to spot 1 or 2 and use the ChocoZiner to make 3 chicobos go into hiding. Examine the lone chicobo to solve the puzzle. Don't forget the hidden item. Shell Stone and Holy Stone.

SOLUTION: THE BASICS FOREST

Location: At the western most area of Trabia continent (refer to World Map
section for exact location)
There are alot of Chicobos in this area, but dont let that confuse you. Start by using the ChocoZiner at spot 1. This will drop 3 chicobos. Then proceed to spot 2 or 3 and use the ChocoZiner to scare off 2 chicobos. Examine the lone chicobo to solve the puzzle. Then find the item Flare Stone.

SOLUTION: THE BEGINNERS FOREST

Location: Just a little south of Shumi Village (refer to World Map section for
exact location)
This one is really easy. Go to spot 4 and use your ChocoZiner and one chicobo will come out. Examine it and solve the puzzle. Dont forget the item, Aura Stone.

SOLUTION: FOREST OF FUN

Location: East of Edea's House (refer to World Map section for exact location)
This one is called "chocobowling". Begin at spot 1 to bring down 3 chicobos. Then move towards either spot 2 or 4 and use your ChocoZiner to set the "pins". Follow this by using the ChocoZiner at spots 3 or 5, which places the "ball". End by using the ChocoZiner at spot 5 and watch the Chicobo's version of a strike. Make sure you get the items, Meteor Stone, Flare Stone, and Ultima Stone.

SOLUTION: FOREST OF SOLITUDE

Location: North of Centra Ruins. Northern most part of the continent. (refer to
World Map section for exact location)
This might look easy but its not. You must be exactly at spot 1, and i mean exactly. This spot is much smaller than the ones in other forests. Just slowly search the spot and find the spot where the ChocoSonar goes nuts. To find the hidden item, you have to ask the Chocoboy to move. Challenge him to a game of cards, and then choose "Forget it, just move". Search the spot where he was standing to find a Protect Stone and a Meteor Stone.

SOLUTION: THE ENCLOSED FOREST

Location: Just a little south of Cactuar Island (refer to World Map section for
exact location)
You have a whole mess of chicobos to work with on this one. Start off by using the ChocoZiner at spot 1 to bring down 2 chicobos. Then go to spot 2 and one chicobos will leave and another will come out. From here on out, just go straight to the order ( spot 3 4 5) and youll add a chicobo each time until only one reamins. After that make sure you get the items Meteor Stones, Holy Stones, and Ultima Stones.

CHOCOBO SANCTUARY
Make sure you have solved all the Chocobo Forest puzzles before you go into the Chocobo Sanctuary. You can still go to the sanctuary but you cant really do nothing there or get the chicobo card unless you have solved all the puzzles.
The only way you can get to the Chocobo Sanctuary is by riding a Chocobo. You must obtain a Chocobo at one of the forests just north of Trabia, then just follow the map.
When you reach the chocobo sanctuary you'll see all six chocobo. They will perform a dance for you. Speak with the Chicobo afterwards, and it will reward you with the Chicobo Card. Speak with it a second time and it will give you some Gysahl Greens, but it will also steal 600 Gil.
